  • Weightlossopathy – The Hidden Science of Weight Loss

“Weightlossopathy” — The Hidden Science of Weight Loss

    — Yogi Krishnadev Nath

    Introduction

In today’s world, body weight has almost become a kind of identity card.
    If you’re slim, people say you’re healthy and beautiful;
but if you’re even slightly overweight, they assume you’ve failed.
We live in a society where people judge their own worth
by the number that appears on a weighing scale.

But the real weight never gathers on the body —
it gathers inside the mind, in thoughts, in guilt, and in self-rejection.
This book is a way to release that invisible weight.
    Its purpose is not just to change the body;
it is to awaken the science of bringing yourself back into harmony with yourself.

Weightlossopathy is not a new diet plan,
not a gym challenge, not another commercial promise.
It takes you back to that inner place within your body
where every cell already knows how to live,
how to stay healthy, and how to remain in balance.

This book will remind you — you are not broken,
you have only lost your rhythm.
You are not sick, you have merely lost your connection
with the natural intelligence of your own body.
This book is written to help you restore that connection.

The word Weightlossopathy comes from two roots —
Weight Loss and Pathy (meaning healing or therapy).
    But here, “loss” doesn’t just mean losing weight;
it means letting go of unnecessary pressure,
false rules, mistaken beliefs, and the heavy burden of fear.

Through this book, you will understand —
    food is not just something to fill your stomach;
it is energy, it is language, it is consciousness.
    Sleep is not a waste of time;
it is your body’s natural process of renewal.
    Breath is not merely air;
it is the living bridge between body and soul.

    I am not a doctor.
I am someone who slowly came out of my own chaos —
    from overeating, overthinking, and overworking.
    One day I realized —
you cannot change your body if your mind stays in the same place.
That realization gave birth to Weightlossopathy
a path where body, mind, and habits work together to transform you.

    This book will not simply tell you what to eat or what to avoid;
it will teach you how to listen to your body.
Because once you begin that conversation,
your body itself will tell you what it needs,
what it doesn’t, and when it feels at peace.

One day, you will stand before the mirror and notice —
    yes, your appearance has changed,
but what has changed even more is your perspective.
    You will stop judging yourself,
and instead, you will begin to connect with yourself.

    Then you will realize —
losing weight is not about changing who you are,
it is about returning to your natural state,
    about recognizing your true identity.

The purpose of this book is simple —
to bring you back to that inner place
where your body, mind, and soul work together —
    not through force, but through understanding;
not through pressure, but through rhythm.

Welcome, my friend, to the world of Weightlossopathy
where losing weight means rediscovering balance.
    There are no promises here,
    only one invitation —
if you stand by your body,
your body will stand by you.

My Words: The Beginning of a Journey

My dear brothers, sisters, and friends from different parts of the world —

I am Yogi Krishnadev Nath, speaking to you from the green and peaceful hill state of Tripura, in the northeastern part of India.
I speak as a bearer of an ancient lineage known as the Nath Yogis
a tradition that is more than a thousand years old,
from which the very consciousness of Indian Yoga first began to blossom.

Today, when the whole world recognizes Yoga as the ultimate medicine for the body, mind, and soul,
very few know that the first seeds of this yogic consciousness were planted by my own ancestors.
They devoted their lives to awakening the divine potential of humanity through Yoga —
    through discipline, awareness, and devotion.

This book — “Weightlossopathy” — is a modern interpretation of that ancient yogic wisdom.
It has been written with the blessings of my inner spiritual master, Swami Atmajnanananda Maharaj,
and every page of this book is illuminated by the undying light of the Nath tradition.

You may wonder why I chose the name Weightlossopathy.
    Because this book is not only about losing physical fat;
it speaks of releasing the invisible heaviness that lies within —
the weight of exhaustion, confusion, guilt, and self–doubt
that quietly settles inside the human heart.

This book will indeed make your body lighter,
    but even more —
it will bring calm to your mind, awaken your soul,
and take you back to that state of balance
where body, mind, and spirit exist in one harmonious rhythm.

    The Modern Epidemic of Obesity

The fastest–spreading disease in the modern world is obesity.
It is not a cosmetic issue; it is a silent disaster.
Heart disease, diabetes, fatty liver, kidney damage, and even brain dysfunction —
almost every modern illness has this one root.

According to the World Health Organization, millions of people around the globe are now victims of obesity — even children.
Once America was called “the capital of the overweight”,
now Europe has joined the same race.
    And my own country, India, is not far behind;
in fact, we are rapidly moving toward breaking that record.

    The reason is simple —
our lifestyle has changed, and our food has been adulterated.
We move less, but eat more.
    We have abandoned natural foods
and become slaves to refined, processed, packaged, and artificial diets.
As a result — our body has lost its rhythm,
our hormones have lost their harmony,
    our minds have become restless,
    and our sleep has disappeared.

This book is an attempt to bring that lost rhythm back.
I am not here to sell you a product, nor to promote a brand.
I am here to help you understand
how to read the language of your own body.

    My Personal Journey

I have walked through this path myself.
    Once, I weighed 96 kilograms.
I suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure, fatty liver, heart blockage, and even kidney problems.
I used to spend about three hundred rupees a day on medicines.

    Today, I weigh 64 kilograms.
    I take no medicine.
My body is not merely surviving — it has been reborn.

So I know from experience —
    weight loss is not just about shedding fat;
it is a form of inner purification —
a transformation that brings you closer to your true nature,
    your authentic self.

This book is the story of that journey —
    Weightlossopathy,
where losing weight means not only lightening the body,
but lightening the whole of life itself.

    Obesity: A Global Crisis

Obesity today is not just a single disease — it has become a global crisis.
America, Europe, and now Asia — all are caught in its shadow.
Most people think obesity is only about physical appearance,
but in reality, it is an internal decay —
a slow erosion of vitality and balance.

    Obesity never comes alone.
It brings with it a chain of disorders,
like a domino effect that breaks one pillar of health after another.

    1. Type–2 Diabetes:
    Excess fat weakens insulin’s function.
Glucose fails to enter the cells, builds up in the blood,
and quietly begins the slow suffering called diabetes.

    2. Heart Disease and High Blood Pressure:
Fat accumulates in the arteries, narrowing them and increasing the pressure on the heart.
The result — heart attacks, strokes, and sometimes sudden death.

    3. Fatty Liver and Kidney Damage:
When fat fills the liver, it can no longer filter toxins efficiently.
    The kidneys too become strained,
and the body starts storing poisons within.

    4. Joint and Bone Pain:
Extra weight means extra pressure on the bones.
This causes inflammation, pain, and stiffness —
    making even simple movements difficult.

    5. Sleep Disorders and Mental Imbalance:
Obesity often leads to sleep apnea, which disrupts rest.
As cortisol levels rise, hormonal rhythm collapses,
and the mind sinks into fatigue and sadness.

Obesity doesn’t just cause disease —
    it shortens life itself.
Studies show that overweight individuals live
7 to 10 years less than those with healthy weight.

    Is There a Solution?

Yes, there is — and it is not complicated.
What we need is not punishment, but awareness,
    not crash diets, but understanding.
We need to learn to work with the body, not against it.

    Losing weight does not mean starving yourself;
it means returning to the natural rhythm of your body.

Today, social media is full of deceptive promises —
“Lose 7 kilos in 7 days”, “Detox drinks”, “Zero–carb diets” —
but these are nothing more than traps for attention.
They never touch the real cause of imbalance.

I am not here to sell you any such illusion.
I am here to teach you that weight loss is not a punishment —
    it is a transformation.

I have walked this road myself.
From 96 to 64 kilograms, I left behind medicine, fear, and self–doubt,
and found freedom in my own body once again.

This is the philosophy of Weightlossopathy
to bring the body back to the laws of nature.

If you follow this path with faith and discipline,
I can say with conviction —
within just one month, your body will begin to change its language.
    Your appearance will transform,
    but beyond that —
you will rediscover love for your own life,
and respect for the sacred intelligence within your body.

  • Fat is not your enemy —
    Wrong thinking is.
    – Yogi Krishnadev Nath

    ## 🕯️ Why Do People Get Fat?

**Because we’ve been believing the biggest lie of our time — “Eating fat makes you fat.”**

    It was the year **2006.**
A well-known doctor from Tripura had written a book that came into my hands.
I don’t remember the exact title now — perhaps *“Lean Body, Fat Body”* or something similar —
but I clearly remember one line from it:

    > “Fat is a dangerous thing — painful when present, and painful when absent.”

According to him, the only way to stay fit was to avoid oily foods.

At that time, I was desperate to lose weight.
No matter what I tried, the numbers on the scale wouldn’t move.
So when I read that book, I thought —
*“Ah! Finally, I’ve found the secret key!”*

And so began my mission: a complete **No-Oil Diet.**
I stopped eating everything that contained fat.
I’m a disciplined person — once I decide something, I give it everything.
For three whole months, I didn’t even look at a drop of oil.

But when I finally stepped on the weighing scale, I was shocked —
My weight hadn’t gone down at all!
Instead, my skin had dried up, my nails had become brittle,
and my hair started falling out like never before.

It felt as if my body was whispering to me —
    > “You’re walking the wrong path.”

I had no choice but to stop that “no-oil” experiment.
At that time, I didn’t know the truth —
that fat was never the real culprit; **carbohydrates were.**

Today, after many years of study and experience, I can say with certainty —
**“Eating fat doesn’t make you fat.”**

Fat is not your enemy. It’s your essential ally.
Your brain, hormones, skin, and heart — all thrive on healthy fats.
It’s not the oils that make you obese —
it’s the excess *rice, bread, sugar, and processed food* that trigger insulin spikes,
and that insulin quietly stores all the extra energy as body fat.

    In short —
**It’s not fat that makes us fat.
It’s our wrong thinking that does.**

And this wrong thinking has been passed down through generations.
Many still believe that *“without fish, meat, or eggs, you can’t stay healthy.”*
Even some doctors reinforce this false narrative.

But **nature is never that cruel.**
The human body is a self-healing design —
if you feed it with the right balance of **natural fats, proteins, and whole foods,**
it knows exactly how to maintain its own health.

If the root cause of a disease is misunderstood,
no amount of medicine can ever truly heal the body.
Real healing begins only when we recognize the truth.

So now, I tell everyone —

    > “Don’t fear food.
    > Fear misinformation.”

From my own journey, I’ve learned —
    **Fat is not the villain;
excess carbohydrates are the real reason your body stores fat.**

You don’t lose weight by avoiding oil —
you lose it by **restoring your insulin rhythm**
and teaching your body to burn fat again.

Honestly, I feel grateful to that old doctor —
because his mistake led me to the truth.
And now, I’m sharing that truth with the world through my book —
so that no one ever walks the same wrong path I once did.
